Libération !

Paris, August 1944, The Liberation of Paris during World War II. For this one I really wanted that found footage feeling like something that was actually shot on Super 8 by someone who happened to be there. The base world is a game environment that I pushed further with Kitbash3D elements, and the Tiger I is from TurboSquid, weathered and placed close enough to the lens that the grain does the rest. I added hardware Ray Tracing with Lumen doing the heavy lifting on atmosphere along with Ultra Dynamic Sky adding the “fog of war.” Color graded in DaVinci Resolve, sitting in faded amber and ash with the fire allowed to blow out the way old film always did. No AI, no compositing all particles are in engine.
