About Me

This site is my collected thoughts about technolgy and culture with my current artwork. I’m publishing using Virb (although I’ve been known to dabble in ExpressionEngine and WordPress) hosted by MediaTemple written in HTML5 and CSS3 with Mint and Google Analytics for tracking. Any errors resulting in viewing this site is because you are using a shitty browser. I’m an unapologetic Apple enthusiasist who lives happily within the “walled garden” in New Orleans, Louisiana.

For illustration:

I’m primarily a pen and ink artist with spot watercolors. I do use acrylic white for highlights but I try to keep it simple. I use HB lead to gesture draw my subject matter and prefer a .35mm Micron pen to render and .25 rapidiograph to detail. I’ve been dabbling with Copic Markers and using gesso for surface texture. 

I have two Raphael Kolinksy sable hair brushes that have lasted me forever. I also have several Winsor Newton brushes I use for detailing. 

As for surfaces I uses everything from Crescent Boards to 3ply bristol board and may experiment with larger formats in the future.
